ABOUT
More than a Student
From the Red sands of the Navajo Nation to the tall buildings and bright lights of the city, my academic career has taken me to places I have never thought of. I only hope that my professional career in Post Production can be just as great if not bigger than my expectations could handle. It has given me opportunities that my fellow peers would only dream of, and opportunities that I have had to decline because of my responsibilities to my tribe. As a Native American student there has been adversity after adversity outside of my Tribal lands, and through my own culture and inspirations I have surpassed the expectations and understandings of Native culture that Non-Indigenous people make of us. I understand every day the blessings that I am gifted and try to not take harmful advantage of these gifts.
I come from Cove, AZ on the Navajo Nation. From a Navajo traditional family rich in cultural values and teachings. My entire life is motivated by these ways of life, even into my professional career. My skills and teachings are going to be invested back into my community in the long run, through the use of New Media Technologies and Techniques.
